MTN Select is a special service mainly for MTN customers that are on MTN TalkOn plan. This service allows MTN's TalkOn customers to call any one of the Eight (8) most frequently called international destinations in Nigeria at discounted rates.
The Eight most frequently called international destinations are:
1- USA
2- Canada
3- UK
4- South Africa
5- China
6- Saudi Arabia
7- India
8- Lebanon
MTN Select allows MTN subscribers that are on MTN TalkOn plan to register one international destination as their MTN Select destination. Such MTN subscriber can then call any number at this destination at a discounted rate.
To make calls to your MTN Select Destination, simply text the access code of the country of your choice and send to 131.
E.g. if USA is your MTN SELECT, simply text "ADD SELECT US" to 131.
You can only select one country at a time.
When you select USA as your MTN Select destination, all calls from your phone to a U.S. destination will be charged at 20 kobo per second (the MTN Select tariff rate for USA)
