QPST is one of the simplest tools that can be used to flash, unbrick (Debrick) Qualcomm android devices. Using QFIL in QPST you can flash and unbrick (debrick) Qualcomm android devices. While other applications in QPST can be used to backup and restore, repair and refurbish, debug and even write Qualcomm android devices partitions. This tutorial focuses on how to flash and unbrick (Debrick) Qualcomm android devices using QFIL.
How to Flash Qualcomm Android Using QPST QFIL: Step By Step Quides
1. Download and install and install QPST on your PC. You can download QPST from here.
2. Download Qualcomm android device drivers. If your device has been bricked; either that it displays QHUSB_BULK 9008, QHUSB_BULK PID_9008, QHSUSB_BULK 9006, CS Emergency or any other similar message, it is necessary that you install Qualcomm HS-USB Drivers on your PC. You can download HS-USB Drivers from here.
3. Download the Stock Firmware for your Qualcomm android device. NOTE: QPST QFIL can flash .mbn and .bin files with .xml file map only.

4. If the firmware you downloaded is compressed in a .zip or .rar file, decompress/unzip the firmware you downloaded in a folder on your PC.
5. Now, remove battery from your phone. If the phone battery is sealed (not removeable) power off the phone and connect your phone to the PC using its compatible USB Cable.
6. Now, launch/open QFIL by i- go to Local Disk C:/ >> Program Files >> Qualcomm >> QPST >> bin >> QFIL.exe and open QFIL.exe as Admin, ii- Click iCon >> All Programs >> QPST >> QFIL and launch/open it.
7. When QFIL is launched, it should display your connected phone's mode and its COM port.
8. On QFIL, locate Programmer Path and click Browse, navigate to the folder where you have UNZIPPED your phone's firmware and select the eMMC programmer file. It should be like prog_emmc_firehose_8x10.mbn or something similar.
9. Locate Load XML and click it. QFIL will automatically open your firmware folder. If it doesn't, navigate to the firmware folder and select rawprogram0.xml and again, select patch0.xml.
10. Finally, locate Download and click it. If all the configurations are correct, QFIL will begin writting/loading the selected stock firmware partitions on your phone.
In less than 5 minutes, the flashing operation should have completed. When it does, your phone should reboot by itself and if it doesn't, disconnect it from the PC and reboot the phone.
NOTE: This is a stright step by step guide on how to unbrick (debrick) Qualcomm android devices using QPST QFIL, circumstances, device state/status, device models/brands and other factors might change your steps. What about MSM8996? They don`t have mbn extension now, only prog_emmc_firehose_8996_ddr.elf and prog_emmc_firehose_8996_lite.elf Do you have any ideas how to unbrick them?

Your may need to force your device into the proper 9008 mode by shorting the (test point) pins.

DeleteHello sir. i am back again with another question. i tried to reprogramme the lg g4 h815p using the qualcomm flash tool. however i donwloaded the recovery files you provided and then i used the files in the h815 recovery folder. it downloaded it successfuly to the device. but after i flashed several roms using LGUP tool, the phone is just stuck at boot logo. so i was so confused and frustrated until i had to do the reprogramme again. this time i used th LS991 recovery filehorse files. but after that the phone couldn't flash either. but now whenever i connect the phone to computer to reprogramme again, it can't work. its stuck only at COM PORT NUMBER: 13 or whatever port number. i have reinstalled my operating system but no hope. how can i do sir?

ReplyDeleteI found out my phone died, I tried turning it on but that didn't work. I took all the things like SD card, SIM card and battery out one by one to see if the problem is caused by any of them but it still wouldn't work.
So I took my phone to my computer and plugged it in. Oddly enough my computer recognized a USB device being plugged in, but it displayed as "QHSUSB_DLOAD" in the device manager... I tried doing all kinds of resets like the download mode and all the other modes involving holding down several buttons.
None of the things I found on google seem to work so I hope you know what I should do.

ReplyDeleteLots of people are waiting for the QFIL file for the Leeco Le Pro 3 Elite (x722). Phone gets bricked easily by upgrading to official ROM in TWRP.
The phone has the MSM8996 and UFS storage. It doesn't react at all, no way to get into bootloader. But the PC recognizes it as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008".
Can you guys help us out?
