What is Flashing?
Flashing, in mobile phone software repairs, is the process of loading stock firmware files on the phone either via the recovery or by means of a computer software / tool such that the firmware files being loaded erases and or replaces the existing files on the phone.
In most cases, flashing resets and restores the phone to its factory default settings and wipes out every existing files and or data on the device.
What is AndroidMTK?
Similar to SP Flash Tool, Piranha Box, Miracle Box and others, AndroidMTK is another service tool designed to handling software repairs of MTK Android devices.
Meanwhile, NCK AndroidMTK is one of the most suphisticated yet simple tools designed to solving MTK Android devices software related issues. Using NCK AndroidMTK Box, you can flash, upgrade dowmgrade, remove FRP locks, format or wipe most MTK Android devices.
When Can You Flash MTK Android Devices?
There are a number of reasons for which you may need to flash an MTK Android device. Below here, I enlist a few reasons why you might need to.
1. When there is need for you to upgrade or downgrade the device.
2. If you have forgotten the password or passcode to unlock the device.
3. If the device does not boot pass the welcome screen.
4. When the device is stuck at boot screen.
5. If the device reboots incessantly.
6. White screen displays that is not connected to the device's screen (hardware) issues can be corrected by flashing.
NOTE:
Flashing can correct virtually all MTK Android devices malfunctions or software related defects therefore; if you notice any malfunctions other than the ones listed above in the device, you may attempt flashing.
What is Stock Firmware?
Stock firmware are the officially released files containing all the partitions of a particular phone or device. Stock firmware contains files and code needed to boot the device up and run its designed operating system on it.
Stock firmware also contains the GUI (graphical user interface), required and useful applications, support files for those applications along with all other files required to run the OS on the device.
What Are MTK Android Devices?
MTK Android devices are those Android devices powered by Mediatek chipsets. In other words, MTK refers to Mediatek.
Generally speaking, Tecno, Infinix, Gionee, Oppsson, and other known brands that originate from China are mostly powered by Mediatek chipsets hence, they are being referred to as MTK Android devices.
How to Flash MTK Android Devices Using NCK AndroidMTK
1. Download NCK AndroidMTK here. Follow the instructions on the page to install and setup NCK AndroidMTK on your PC.
2. Download USB VCOM drivers from here. See the instructions on the page for how to install the drivers on your PC.
3. Download the device firmware here. NOTE: the firmware to be downloaded has to be specific for the device you want to flash.
4. Extract the firmware you downloaded from step 2 above onto a folder on your PC.
5. Launch NCK AndroidMTK on your PC.
6. Once NCK AndroidMTK GUI is loaded. Setup NCK AndroidMTK as seen in the image below.

NOTE:
a. Number 1. Choose by 0-By CPU for chipset CPU Model flashing options.
b. Number 2. Select the device chipset model from the drop-down list.
c. Number 3. Choose Full Flash Skip Preloader; this will flash the whole partitions except the Preloader.
d. Number 4. Click Write Flash.
7. Click Open Scat File and navigate to the firmware folder and select Scatter File.


8. Click Write Flash.
9. Now, Power off the device or remove battery from it; whichever is possible.
10. Finally, connect the device to your PC and tap the Power button just once.
11. Now, watch NCK AndroidMTK progress bar until it completes the whole operations.
12. Once done, the device will reboot. You may then disconnect the device from the PC.
13. Succeeded! You have just succeeded at flashing your MTK Android device using NCK Android MTK.
