How to Flash MTK Android Devices (.bin file) Using Piranha Box

Piranha box is one of the few flash tools that can be used to flash bin (.bin) files on MTK android devices. Though, Piranhabox supports many android chipsets including SPD android, Qualcomm, RDA amongst others; this tutorial discusses how to flash MTK android devices using Piranha box.
In this tutorial, we discuss how to flash MTK android devices using Piranha box. Please note that, to flash MTK android devices using Piranha box, you will need an MTK stock firmware (for your device) with a valid bin (.bin) file.

How to Flash MTK Android Devices Using Piranha Box

1. To flash your MTK android device, download Piranha Box from here then, extract it in a folder on your PC.
2. Download your MTK android device stock ROM and extract it on a folder on your PC. Remember that the firmware has to be a bin format

3. Now, open the folder where you extracted Piranha Box (downloaded in Step 1) and open Piranha_Box_v1.46_Crack_Only_DzCraXx.exe as ADMIN

4. Wait while Piranha Box is loaded. On Piranha Box, click Chinese Tool button and then, click Maximise (optional) button for a full view.

5. Now, from the list, locate and click on MTK Chipset.
6. From the options to the right, select Write.

7. Now, click on the Browse button to locate the .bin firmware you have downloaded for your device.

8. Next, click Boot and scroll to the MTK Chipset that curresponds to your device Chipset

NOTE: in the image above, the .bin file starts with MTK6582 therefore, our curresponding boot is MT65xx...

9. Select USB Mode (if you are using USB)

10. Now, select Cable thus; Name USB_(Cable&Mode).

11. Now, Power Off your device and Connect it to the PC via the USB Cable.
12. Now, click Start button to begin the flashing operation.

13. Hold On until the flashing operation is completed. When the operation is completed, a GREEN PASS message will be displayed.
14. You may now close Piranha Box and disconnect your device from the PC.
