If you are able to remove or bypass (FRP) Factory Reset Protection on your Samsung android devices using the method discussed here or otherwise, please comment.
What is FRP, Factory Reset Protection?
FRP, Factory Reset Protection is a security measure introduced to the Android 5.1 (5.0 in some) and beyond. This security ensures that you remain locked out when you factory reset your android device without first removing the Google account connected with the device. In other words, you have to sign in the Google account that was being used on the phone before it was factory resetted.
How to Bypass FRP (Factory Reset Protection) On Samsung Android
If a Samsung android device is factory reset and you get this message during setup:
This device was reset. To continue, sign with the Google account that was previously synced on this device.
It means the device is locked on FRP which is also called Factory Reset Protection. Note that this is different from Samsung Reactivation Lock.
Step #1: Download a firmware specific for that Samsung android device. This firmware must be an old firmware preferably, those firmware from December 2015 and below. You can download Samsung firmware from Sammobile.com
Step #2: flash the firmware you downloaded from the step #1 above on the Samsung android device. See here: How to Flash Stock Firmware On Samsung Android Device Using ODIN
Recommended:
Step #3: After flashing the phone, disconnect the phone from the PC and turn it on.
Step #4: Now, download SideSync on your PC.
Step #5: Open SideSync and then connect your Samsung android device to the PC.
Step #6: A menu will appear on your screen, choose Browser >> Internet Browser.
Step #7: From the browser, go to alnajat.co. Download and install the apk on your Samsung android.
Reference: Go to Bookmarks >> History >> Download History
Step #8: Finally, open Settings.apk and perform a factory reset from there.

I just want to thank you for this, you got me my phone back. I figured I'd reroot and reinstall my entire phone since I like to tweak and messed up my google play store. And not just that, apps where crashing out stuff like that, in shortL i had tweaked it too much. I re-flashed the firmware on it and got stuck on that EVIL "reset phone" google screen and was up shit creek without a paddle. All night long I looked in to it theres a million "tips" to get rid of this but all very phone specific and none of them worked. Then I figured well I'll google on how to do it with Odin, since maybe I can flash the darn thing out. Then I stumbled on this page. Worked on it for a while and just KNEW this was the answer, felt it in my gut and figured: this has to be it. Tried and tried and finally I figured that that downloaded app you mentioned is in the favorites / download history and whammo, now I could finally factory reset it.
